- Book Club:
- The association has received funding through the Ohio Department of Education’s Office of Exceptional Children to create a Community of Practice for you! One of the ways we are doing that is by creating a monthly book study. This year’s book is The Knowledge Gap: The Hidden Cause of America's Broken Education System--and How to Fix it. Club sessions will beheld on Zoom, facilitated by Carina Turner with dates and times to be determined by those interested in participating. This book study is offered at no cost and only to OSPA members. Click Here to sign up and opt to pick up your copy at the OSPA conference or have it mailed to you for free. Complete form by Oct. 20 to ensure you receive a complimentary book.
- MCE/CEU Credits:
- Continuing education credits will be available each day: 2 ethics hours for Wednesday and 5 hours for Thursday
- Exhibitors:
- Vendors interested in an exhibitor table or other sponsorship opportunity during the Thursday conference sessions may request a form by emailing mail@ospaonline.org. Vendors are subject to review and will be granted space on a first come, first served basis.
Raffle Tickets:
Get your raffle tickets early! Click Here to donate online to The Valorie Wolcott Mendelson OSPA Scholarship. It is one of OSPA’s efforts to support and increase the number of school psychologists in Ohio. This scholarship is offered to two students, based significantly on financial need in the amount of $3,000 each. Since its inception, OSPA has given $55,000 to students in Ohio! All the money in the scholarship comes from YOU!
If donating online, the minimum donation is $20 (which equals 14 raffle tickets) but you are more than welcome to donate more! You can also mail a check to the OSPA office in any amount. Tickets are 1 for $2, 3 for $5, and 7 for $10. Finally, if you donate online be sure to bring your receipt to the conference. Thank you so much for your generosity!
